Psi Omega members celebrate inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris

The members of the Psi Omega chapter celebrated the inauguration of Vice President Kamala Harris with a virtual watch party.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated declared Wednesday, January 20, 2021 as Kamala Harris Day.
Members of the organization celebrated by wearing shades of pink and pearls.
Psi Omega Vice President Alleah Salone told Boston 25 News, "It feels like an out of body experience because I've been waiting fro this for so long for something to change."
President Kathy Lucas spoke with 7 News about what it was like to meet Harris in 2019.
Members Theresa Coney and Chenita Daughtry spoke with NBC 10 Boston about the experience watching the historic moment.
